Frequently Asked Questions

📆  Does completing a Reservation Request form on the website secure my rental?

No. After completing a Reservation Request, you will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm availability of the unit/supplies requested. At this time, we will gather any additional information needed and begin the estimate process. Once the estimate is received and accepted by you, a 25% deposit will be required. Once your deposit is received, your rental will officially be confirmed.

 

⏳ How long is a typical rental?

Typical rentals are for 6-7 hours; however, due to drop and pick up schedules, you may have the unit for a longer period.

🛻  Is delivery and setup included in the price of the rental?

Prices on our website include delivery services for St. Johns County and surrounding areas. Should your location be outside of our delivery radius, there will be a nominal fee added. This will be reflected in the estimate provided after receiving your Reservation Request.

 

⏳ How far in advance do I need to reserve my unit?

Reservation Requests can be made at any time. On average, customers book their events 6 weeks in advance. To ensure you have your preferred selections, dates, and times – the earlier the better! We do accept last minute requests and will communicate scheduling availability at that time.

 

💵  When is payment due?

Once your estimate has been accepted, a 25% deposit will be required for confirmation. The additional balance will be due at the time of delivery.

 

💰  What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, Apple Cash, Zelle, and business checks free of charge. We accept Venmo and credit and/or debit cards or an ACH transaction with a 3% processing fee added.

 

✨ How much space will be required for set up?

Each unit has differing requirements for spacing. Please see the Pricing & Details tab on our website for specific measurements.

⏰  What are your standard operating business hours?

Our standard operating hours for rentals ranges from 7:00am-7:00pm. Any rental outside of this timeframe will incur an after-hours fee. This fee will be communicated during the estimate process.

⚖️  Does A Bounce Above Party Rentals carry liability insurance?

Yes. We carry year-round liability insurance coverage. Upon request, we can provide you with a Certificate of Insurance.

🎈  Am I allowed to decorate the Blank Canvas white bounce house to match my event theme?

Yes. The open concept Blank Canvas has anchors surrounding the entry that may be used for decorations such as balloon garlands. If you would like to decorate it, please advise us in advance so that we can make it most accessible for you upon delivery. No sharp objects or pins are allowed on or near the unit. String, cooking twine, or long balloons are advised for securing decorations. Should the unit be damaged in any way, you will be held responsible for repair and/or replacement costs.

🌎  What type of surface can an inflatable be set up on?

Inflatables can be set up on most flat indoor or outdoor surfaces such as grass, dirt, concrete, asphalt, etc. This area must be clear of all sharp objects and debris. It also must have enough overhead clearance (free of tree branches and limbs, electrical lines, or other hazardous materials) for the inflatable of choice.

 

🔨  Will stakes be used to secure the inflatable?

Yes. We will use 24-inch stakes to secure all inflatables on dirt and/or grassy areas. You will be responsible for ensuring there are no irrigation or other utility lines beneath the area where you request the inflatable to be set up. We will not be held responsible for any damaged pipes and/or utility lines.

 

⚡️ What is the inclement weather and/or cancellation policy?

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your rental prior to delivery if severe weather conditions are imminent or if we have reason to believe that ourselves, our equipment, and/or attendees may be in danger.  Some examples of severe weather include high winds (20 miles per hour or greater), excessive rain, flooding, severe thunderstorm watches and/or warnings, hail, and/or lightning.

 

Any confirmed reservation cancelled with less than 72 hours notice may incur a 25% fee in which your deposit will be forfeited. If there are extenuating circumstance regarding your cancellation, please let us know as soon as possible.

 

🎉  Is silly string, slime, paint, candy, colored food items, and/or drinks allowed on or near the inflatables/supplies?

No. The above-mentioned items and those similar in nature are strictly prohibited. Use of such items will incur an additional fee which can be up to full replacement cost of unit.

 

🪣  How are your units/supplies stored and maintained?

All inflatable units and supplies are stored in a clean, fully enclosed area. We check inflatables for damages prior to delivery as well as upon pick up. We clean our units on a regular basis and deep clean them as needed. Ball pits are disinfected with Force of Nature cleaning spray which is a non-toxic cleaning product safe for little hands and mouths!
